Applications:

  • It is a polymer with elastic properties, that is, it can deform considerably and return to its initial shape once the work to which it was subjected has finished.
  • Due to its high resistance to abrasion, it is used in tires, in conveyor belts in pumping equipment and in pipes with abrasive substances.
  • Due to its flexibility it is used in hoses, tires and machine rollers.
  • Due to its elasticity it is used in some types of shock absorbers and to reduce vibrations in machine mechanisms.
  • Thanks to its impermeability it is also widely used to make waterproof clothing and diving suits.
  • Due to its resistance to electricity, it is very useful for making protective insulating materials and in some parts of mobile phones, radio sets and other electrical instruments.

Our products

SBR

(Styrene Butadiene Rubber) is a synthetic elastomer obtained by polymerizing a mixture of monomers: styrene and butadiene. It is the synthetic rubber with the highest volume of production in the world. Its main application is in the manufacture of tires Small and medium size tire casings, Footwear sector, Conveyor and transmission belts, Molded articles, Profiles

EPDM

(Ethylene Propyelene Diene Methylene) is an elastomeric thermopolymer that has good resistance to abrasion and wear. The composition of this material contains between 45% and 75% ethylene, being generally more resistant the higher this percentage. EPDM rubber is an extremely versatile material that can be used in a variety of applications from automotive products to HVAC parts.

SBS

(Styrene-butadiene-styrene) SBS is well suited to be used as a sealing material and an adhesive in the hot melt process. It is also widely used in applications such as shoemaking, asphalt and asphalt sheet modification, polymer modification, liquid sealing materials, waterproof layers or coatings, electrical cables, automobile components, medical devices, office supplies, and adhesives.

SIS

(Styrene-isoprene-styrene. Its thermoplastic characteristic, high elasticity, and low melting temperature and viscosity make SIS popular in the fields of glues, plastic modification, mainly used to produce plastic cargo bags, women's wipes, paper diapers, double-sided tapes, and oil-resistant labels.

NBR

(Nitrile-Butadiene) Although its physical and chemical properties vary depending on the composition of the nitrile polymer, this particular type of synthetic rubber is unusual in that it is generally resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals. Thus, the more nitrile there is in the polymer, the greater the resistance to oils, but the less flexibility of the material. The uses of nitrile rubber include gloves (substitute for natural rubber) for the health industry, automobile transmission belts, hoses, O-rings or sealing rings (o-rings), gaskets, seals, V-belts, synthetic leather, printer roller and as cable covering.

EPOXI

It is known for its great adhesive qualities that make it a versatile product in multiple industries. It offers resistance to heat and the application of chemicals which guarantees a strong grip even under great pressure. It is also a durable product that can be used on various materials such as wood, textiles, glass, porcelain, or metal. This resin is commonly used as an adhesive, due to its strong properties that allow its use in structural and engineering adhesives. Epoxy is regularly used in the manufacture of vehicles, snowboards, airplanes, and bicycles.

NATURAL RUBBER

It is an elastomer, it is a polymeric material of natural or synthetic origin that is characterized by its great elasticity. Rubber is widely used in the manufacture of tires, waterproof and insulating articles, due to its excellent properties of elasticity and resistance to acids and alkaline substances. It is water repellent, insulating against temperature and electricity.

LATEX

It is a watery material composed of different fats, waxes and gummy resins of vegetable origin. Its color in liquid state is white and yellowish once solidified.
